Schokowerkstatt: the women’s furniture workshop

The Schokowerkstatt, the women’s furniture workshop, is located on the second floor (one flight above ground floor) of the Women’s Center. Here, skilled cabinetmakers make beautiful natural wood furniture from European wood types with an organic oil-wax treatment as a surface finishing.

Women who would prefer to make their furniture themselves with the guidance of one of the carpenters in our workshop can do this during three weekly sessions. We also always have a position for one or two interns. And for those interested in more artistic work, come and learn wood sculpting on Monday evenings or participate in the painting group on Fridays.

All these activities are very popular, so please register beforehand by telephone.
